FINAL FANTASY 7 REMAKE

[ Progress ] [ What Needs to be Done ] [ Why Remake FF7 ] [ Help Needed ]

OK, FF7 could possible be the best RPG in the world, but I found a lot of flaws with it. One of the major flaws I saw was the was the storyline was loose. I want to remake it into a FF2 like, in terms of linear storyline and graphics (maybe FF5 for graphics), with it retaining everything that made FF7 great (maybe except for the action sequences, it may be hard to do).

 

Why Remake Final Fantasy 7?

Here are the reasons why I decided to make a FF7 Remake:

  1. I want to fix up the loose storyline.
  2. Make it a bit linear (hate having to choose teams), like FF2 (US).
  3. To see if this game will still have the same appeal if it weren't 3D.
  4. There are some changes I'd like to make
 -You're doing WHAT!?!?!?!
-Uh-ah, It'll never be done.
-uh...um..ah...hmmm....
Ha ha, remake FF7. Yeah right...-It can be done!
-Nope, can't be done...nope.
It'll never be done!--Yes, it will!

I Need Help Doing This

But I need help. I'm not much of a programmer, nor am I a 2D computer artist. I'll need big time help:

  1. One or a few competent Visual Basic programmers.
  2. Great artists to make FF-like characters and tiles.
  3. Musicians to remix/create all the FF7 music.
  4. A script of the FF7 dialog.
  5. People to help plot and alter the storyline to greatness.
